Compared to their predecessors, these newbies not only have higher water resistance, but also more recognizable appearance. The Aquatimer Chronographs come in a 44 mm x 17 mm stainless steel cases and are water-resistant to 300 meters. $7,000 with a rubber strap, $8,000 with a steel bracelet. (Refs. IW376801/IW376802/IW376803/IW376804). Overall, this series comes in more reserved colours and shape (black or silver dial); making it an easy fit for everyday wear. The only reminder of its more colourful predecessors are the yellow seconds hand at the 9 o’clock sub-dial.

The case combines both rotating outer and inner bezel together with the SafeDive system. As a result, it has the advantage of an internal rotating bezel with the ease of using an external rotating bezel. The chronograph function handles single stop times and aggregate timing up to 12 hours.
