Although the more commonly known Omega watches are their sports series – The Omega Seamaster and Omega Speedmaster. Despite Omega Tresor series being less heard of, the original Omega DeVille Tresor was actually quite popular back in 1949. It was famous for its classic gold and thin case which holds a 30 mm calibre within. Omega De Ville Tresor – Master Co-Axial
The vintage looks of Omega De Ville Tresor Master Co-Axial together with its’ 8511 Caliber makes the watch seems like a treasure from another era. The Omega Tresor Master Co-Axial Calibre 8511 is a manual winding movement, has an 18-carat red gold balance bridge, together with a three level Co-Axial escapement, and a Si14 silicon balance spring. Apart from an easy zonetime function, the entire watch has Omega’s exclusive anti-magnetic technology. This technology was first equipped in Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, and has anti-magnetic function of 15,000 Gauss. We were told that by year 2017, this anti-magnetic movement will be used in all in-house made Omega movement.
Omega Tresor – De Ville Master Co-Axial
Omega Tresor has a silvery opaline dial with a vintage “close de Paris” touch. The 40 mm De Ville Tresor model comes in 3 main style: 18K Omega Sedna Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, and 18k White Gold. Matching Omega De Ville Tresor leather straps comes in either brown or black.
The date window is at the 6 o’clock position with domed 18k gold markers. Each Omega Tresor Hour, minute, and seconds hands are done with material that matches the case and is central domed. Sapphire crystals are treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides and is scratch resistant. The Tresor has also water resistance of up to 30 meters, which makes it the perfect vintage looking watch with cutting edge technology and functions.
